Hello all, Im clutching at straws here but will try incase someone knows - or understands the documantation better than I can. I am developing a program through Delphi which is used to program RFID tags then send a signal to a laser marker to burn a number into the tag casing. I have the programing the chip fine but im struggling to work out how I can send print numbers to this laser marker. My program will have a specific variable that I need to send to the laser, and wait for a return value to show it has completed the burn. I have attached the documentation they I have been provided with which is extensive but unfamiliar to me.

Legal Aspects Of Business Akhileshwar Pathak Pdf To Word. Hi, Still lots of information needed, but this is what I assume so far: -The laser engraving machine is controlled by some Windows software. -The programming language shown in the documentation is some sort of scripting language to be interpreted by the controlling Windows software. -The Windows application sends the command instructions via some communications line: serial port, USB, Ethernet.

Normally, this kind of machinery is controlled using serial ports, USB or similar. Some very elaborate pieces of kit even have DLLs or ActiveX servers that you can use in your applications, linking into them and giving them custom instructions. If I were you, and I wanted to control the machine with a Delphi application rather than the bundled Windows app, I'd be looking look for a specification of a serial port protocol or some controlling DLL. Give a shout if you need more suggestions. Hi Iqbustos, thanks for your comments - as you can see I havent got any response form anyone else, I know the information I gave was a little limited but the documentation for the laser marker comes as about 30 individual PDF files so I couldnt attach all of them. From what I have gathered through the documentation the Scriba software is designed to allow third party applications to send variables which will be incorporated into a design already downloaded tot he printer e.g you use the Scriba software to make the design of you marking, and one of the parts of the design are a variable, you download this design to the printer form the Scriba software then more or less turn off the computer that has the Scriba software on it.

You now (through the third party application) send commands that contain the variable, the marker should perform its marking then return a signal to indicate it is finished. The trouble is that I cannot find out how to do this as the documentation is so spread out across all these individual documents and I am a little lost on exactly what I am looking for. I have zipped all the documents into one file and put then here and downloading the scriba documentation zip file. Easycap 4 Channel Usb Driver Windows 7 here.
